A Ravaged Battleship is a unique location in the World marked by an X. It is an end-game location with strong enemies and powerful resources and weapons present. After clearing the entrance, the player will be presented with the Fabricator, which allows for the crafting of advanced alien equipment using Alien Alloy.

Structure[]

A Ravaged Battleship is unique in that it has several stages to clear within it. When first discovered, the player must clear the entrance stage of the battleship. When this is done, the Fabricator is given to the player and the battleship can be explored again, where the player can choose between exploring the Engineering, Medical, and Martial decks for Fabricator Blueprints to create more alien technology. The Command Deck is unlocked after all three of the other areas are cleared, where a final tough boss fight takes place.

Entrance[]

In order to enter A Ravaged Battleship, a Torch is required. The player will then need to fight past either a military encampment, giant insects, or an ancient beast depending on the event that is presented. To clear the entrance, the player must power cycle the ship which will activate a defense turret. This turret serves as the boss fight for the entrance stage and can be quite difficult to beat with an underprepared Avatar.

Engineering[]

The Engineering deck is the first area that can be selected after completing the entrance. The blueprints for Hypos and Kinetic Armour can be found in this area.

There is an event chain that can be exploited for infinite Alien Alloy. If the player is immediately confronted with a reactivated turret, they will next encounter the destroyed engine room which will always have some alien alloy in it. By leaving after picking up the alloy, the Engineering area has been left uncleared and can be reentered immediately, hopefully triggering another engine room event.

Medical[]

The Medical deck is the second area that can be selected after completing the entrance. The blueprints for the Glow Stone and Stim can be found here.

Martial[]

The Martial deck is the third area that can be selected after completing the entrance. The blueprints for the Plasma Rifle and Disruptor can be found here.

Like the Engineering deck, the Martial deck can be exploited for powerful weapons and ammunition. Upon entering the Martial deck, there will be a guaranteed armoury event that will reward the player with many useful weapons if a Grenade is used to blow open a jammed door. Inside the armoury, Energy Blades, Laser Rifles, Plasma Rifles, Energy Cells, and most importantly, more Grenades can be found. Because of this, the armoury can be accessed infinitely many times by leaving and reentering so long as the player has at least one Grenade. Normally scarce consumables like Energy Cells and Grenades can be farmed indefinitely here.

Command Deck[]

The Command Deck is comparatively scarce in comparison to the other decks, and for good reason. The command deck houses the Immortal Wanderer, the final boss of A Ravaged Battleship. It is easily the strongest enemy in the game and will kill any Avatar not using the best equipment available. Upon the clearing of the Command Deck by defeating the Immortal Wanderer, A Ravaged Battleship will become an outpost. The Immortal Wanderer will drop the fleet beacon upon defeat, which if obtained before reaching space, will unlock an alternate ending.
